The Los Angeles Boys and Girls Club partners with Award-Winning Producer Devine Evans to launch Music Program

United States – The Los Angeles Boys and Girls Club (LABAGC) and Devine Evans, an award-winning producer, are pleased to announce they have entered into a strategic partnership to launch a music program. The partnership between LABAGC and Devine Evans began with the 2022 annual fundraiser where Devine served as musical director and brought on the dance championship team from Center Stage Dance LA and the talented 6-year-old internet sensation Zoey Zanai.

Speaking on the occasion, Devine Evans said, “I am thrilled to partner with the Los Angeles Boys and Girls Club. I believe with our combined skills and strengths, we’ll be able to produce some terrific music for music lovers across the world.”

Though known mostly for his work as a producer and film composer, Devine Evans has spent the last 2 decades contributing both creatively and financially to globally recognized charities like the make a wish foundation, the La food bank, Kevin Harts Help from the Hart Foundation, the What About Us project, The diary of a songwriter project, The Harvey Foundation.

Devine Evans is currently seeking instrument donations to give the members of the boys and girls club the tools they need to participate in the clubs’ developing music program.

They are currently looking for the following instruments:

About Devine Evans

A dominant figure in the music industry for over twenty years, Devine Evans got his start in Atlanta at Left Eye Productions, headed by Lisa Lopes of TLC.  Mr. Evans is a multi-award-winning Producer, Composer, Songwriter, and Engineer. His most recent contribution as a Composer, Producer, and Sound Designer is the Grammy Award-winning live version of the Billboard hit song “Happy” by Pharrell Williams. Mr. Evans is also the NAACP Image award-winning Composer for “The New Edition Story”.  He has worked with many of the world’s biggest recording artists and musicians including; Camilla Cabello, Janet Jackson, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Pharrell Williams, Lady Gaga, Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Hans Zimmer, and Selena Gomez, among more.
